Welcome to mi casita! Mi casa es su casa!

I’ve been the “pillow lady” for 16 years. Long story short—I was born and raised in a creative environment. My dad is an architect, which influenced my love for structured, clean, linear design. And I learned how to sew from my mom, who designed and made window treatments and bedding as a hobby when I was growing up.

Following my design gene, I moved to Los Angeles to earn my BFA in Interior Design. While there, I had the chance to work in the resource library at a large design firm. As the “gatekeeper,” I was surrounded by an endless world of fabrics—and completely fell in love with the textures, patterns, weaves, colors, and materials. I’ll admit, I got very distracted organizing samples… don’t tell anyone 😄

Only One Design was born from a desire to keep fabric samples out of the landfill, which naturally led me to pillow making. Sixteen years later, here we are!

Most of my designs are one-of-a-kind or produced in very limited runs—which, honestly, gives me the perfect excuse to keep buying more fabric 😉
